Installation Apache HTTP-Server V2.2.14

Ein Hallo und ein Hilferuf an das Forum,

ich plage mich mit der Installation des Apache HTTP-Server V2.2.14 und leider komme ich zu keinem Ergebnis. Die Installation erfolgt ohne Probleme, nachdem ich diverse Hilfeseiten im Web durchforstet habe. Ich erhalte jedoch keinerlei Rückmeldung nach Eingabe von "localhost" im Browser. Eine Deinstallation mit anschliessender Neuinstallation erbrachte keinerlei Veränderung. Auch eine Installation mit einem anderen Betriebssystem war nicht von Erfolg gekrönt. Ich weis mir keien Rat mehr.

Betriebssystem: Windows Vista Ultimat 64-Bit

ServerPort ist derselbe wie SSL-Port?
Ich weiß nicht ob das funktionieren kann, ich kenns nur anders.
