Portänderung für Apache auf WHS geht nicht.

Hallo Freunde,

vorab möchte ich versichern, dass ich seit mehreren Tagen wegen diesem Problem in verschiedenen Foren und Suchmaschinenen danach gesucht habe.
Ich habe mit einen Acer h340 Home Server mit WHS 2003 zugelegt. Auf diesen habe ich xampp (welches ich seit Jahren ohne Probleme auf meinen Rechnern bereits nutze) installiert, um dort von verschiedenen Rechnern aus einen lokalen Testserver für meine Webseiten zu haben.
Hier ist aber das Problem, dass die Standartwebseite, über welche der Remotezugriff auf den Server läuft, des vorhandenen IIS den Port 80 belegt. Diesen Zugriff möchte ich aber auch behalten. Ich habe bereits hier versucht mit verschiedenen Ports (auch im Router freigegeben) eine Änderung vorzunehmen, klappt aber nicht.
Nun habe ich versucht den Port des apache zu ändern 8008, 8080, 8888. In der conf habe ich folgendes versucht: "Listen 8888", "ServerName localhost:8888" oder "Listen 192.168.178.28:8888", bringt alles nicht. Der apache startet kurz und ist gleich wieder weg.
Also wie bereits gesagt, ich habe schon vieles gelesen, aber entweder ich begreife es nicht, (weiter IP usw.) oder es bringt nichts. Ich will nur erreichen, dass der Remotezugriff ständig funktioniert und meine Webseiten lokal auf dem Server laufen.
Kann mir hier jemand mit verständlichen Worten weiterhelfen?

Wenn der Apache sich selbst nach kurzer Zeit wieder beendet, ist ein blick ins Apache error.log meist aufschlußreich.

danke für das Interesse, ich habe das Problem lösen können. Ich musste nur noch den Port 443 auf 444 ändern und es funktionierte.
