ich bin absoluter Anfänger und gerade am verzweifeln.
Also ich möchte eine Open Source software auf einem server installieren. Ist ein Hetzner(?) server.
Zu dieser software gibts eine Installations-Anleitung:

Benötigt werden PHP, ein webserver(Apache?) und mySQL. Ist angeblich auch alles auf dem HEtzner server vorhanden.
Das Apache directory befindet sich wohl hier:
/usr/lib/apache2/
Befüllt ist der Ordner lediglich mit einem /modules Ordner
Jetzt soll ich laut doku folgendes machen:
Extract the downloaded package into the document directory of your web server.
You may extract the package right in the document root directory of your web server. In this case Care2x will be accessible with URL http://your_host/, where your_host is the host of your server computer.
Or, you may extract the package in a subdirectory of the document root directory of your web server. In this case Care2x will be accessible with URL http://your_host/sub_dir/, where your_host is the host of your server computer and sub_dir is the subdirectory where you have extracted the package.
You may need to restart your web browser to make the Care2x application available.
Und hier setzts jetzt bei mir etwas aus. Was genau ist denn das document directory? Ist das der modules Ordner?.Wie man sieht kenn ich mich mit apache und allem wirklich gar nicht aus, wäre also für Hilfe dankbar.
