mod_rewrite

Hallo zusammen,

seit ein paar Tagen bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines MAC und versuche das Ding langsam verwendbar zu machen.

Ich habe es bereits geschafft, den Apache2 zu aktivieren was ja nicht schwer ist und php funktioniert auch. Nur beim Thema mod_rewrite hänge ich fest (das hatte ich am alten Wondoof-Rechner auch nie geschafft).

Gibt es irgendwo eine Anleitung für Dumme die auch ich verstehe?

Was willst Du denn wissen? Wie man es installiert/aktiviert, oder welche Kommandos man benutzen kann?

Du musst in der Datei httpd.conf die Zeile

LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

aktivieren, sprich: falls dort ein '#' am Zeilenanfang steht, lösche das erste Zeichen. Falls die Zeile schon so wie oben drin steht, ist schon alles fertig.

Du mußt Apache neu starten, falls diese Zeile nicht aktiviert war.

Hi,

Well I had a look around to this problem and it seems it is specific to mac os system on intel machines, so I send my post here.

I had installed the apache 2 server from www.serverlogistics.com and it seems to start. However it is impossible to log into my local website with an error in my web browser "can't log to "localhost" server".

By reading the logs I got in [color=brown]/Library/Apache2/logs/error_log [/color] (where there is also a httpd.pid file): crit (14)Bad address: mod_rewrite: Could not set permissions on rewrite_log_lock; check User and Group directives Configuration Failed

So, I commented the line "LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" in [color=brown]/Library/Apache2/conf/httpd.conf [/color] with no efffect at all.

Then I don't know what to do.... any idea please ?

NB : I did not configure or set any htaccess file in any directory.
