Problem with chroot.

hi all.
well, I try make step by step of chroot by articles of securityfocus, but there was not any information about /dev/random which isn't working well.
it shows me an error: Digest: error generating secret: No such file or directory Configuration Failed....and not run my httpd.

should I create /dev/random directory?! with mknod?! how?!

i'm not quite sure, but i read this in my httpd.conf

simple?! mkdir /dev/random
or mknod?! how?!
