fastCGI installiert?

Guten Abend allerseits

Ich bin noch ein absoluter Noob, was Websachen betrifft und habe grade ein Problem. Ich hab XAMPP und auf mein Apache FastCGI installiert. Ich würde aber gerne wissen, FastCGI auch wirklich läuft? Kann man es so an dem Error log beim Start erkennen?

Das Problem ist, dass ich n Rails script aufm Apache habe, der beim laden trotz anscheinend installierter FastCGI saulahm ist im Vergleich zum Webrick. Kommt mir seltsam vor, dass der Webrick zum bearbeiten des scriptes mehr als doppelt so schnell arbeitet

Mache einen phpinfo(), da müßte man es erkennen können.

Ich würde aber gerne wissen, FastCGI auch wirklich läuft?

mod_fastcgi logged in nomale error_log vom Apache. Laut der mod_fastcgi- Doku soll man für's Debuggen der Konfiguration den LogLevel vom Apache auf "info" stellen.

(Ansonsten würde ich dir da eher eine Newsgroup für fastcgi oder Ruby empfehlen.)
