About Virtual Hosts?

Hello,
I have read the article on apache's web site about the virtual hosting but i didn't understand anything.

My problem is that, i have 2 domain names but i have one server also one ip adress.

So,i want a forwarding like;

www.my1domain.com
i want my first domain name to indicate the directory below
C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\my1domain

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

www.my2domain.net
i want my second domain name to indicate the directory below
C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\my2domain
