MySQL startet nicht

Guten Morgen!

Derzeit versuche ich Xampp 1.8.3 auf meinem Rechner (Win8.1) zum Laufen zu bringen, um die neue Vereinshomepage in einer Testumgebung ertsellen zu können.

Leider kommt beim SQL-Server keine Verbindung zustande. Im Protokoll steht folgendes:

An der Firewall kann es meines Erachtens nicht liegen, weil die gleiche Meldung auch bei ausgeschalteter Firewall erscheint..
Kann mir da jemand helfen? Oder was für Informationen werden noch benötigt?
