I have tried tio read through the forums but with no luck, my German is not up to scratch.
I have tried to make a portable install on an Usb stick, I first tried with Z:wamp which did not work, and now I have tried with xampp. Xampp hav ebeen succesful previously on another machine, permanent install, but not this time.
When I enter localhost, the z amp starting page, without the control panel comes up. Z amp was on another stick and has been removed since it did'nt work allright. I know from before that there's a way of either editing files to have the localhost point correctly, or there's a way of editing the registry keys, but I can't find the instructions on how to resolve this.
I want a portable install in order to have a portable installation of joomla/virtuemart, as well as other stuff.
I appreciate any guidance/help.
