ich hab bei mir zu Hause auf dem Computer xampp (Version 1.7.3) installiert, habe aber, seitdem ich das neue Xampp habe, einige Probleme mit dem Mercury Mail Server. Ich habe bereits hier schon mal nachgeschaut, habe aber nichts wirklich interessantes herrausgefunden.
Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja mal weiterhelfen, das Problem ist, dass der Mercury Mail Server um's verrecken weder seinen I-Map noch seinen SMTP-Server starten will, obwohl komischerweiße der SMTP-Server als online angezeigt wird im xampp-kontrollpanel ist er in wirklichkeit aus und ich habe auch keinen anderen SMTP-Server installiert und ich kann auch Mails mit der Routine verschicken, nur habe ich nach einigen Überprüfungen festgestellt, dass der SMTP-Server off ist, kein Windows-Service für smtp-server aktiv ist.
Desweiteren, ich denke aber, dass es mit dem zuerst geschilderten Problem zusammenhängt, ist, dass sich, wie bereits erwähnt, der IMAP-Server weigert das zu tun, für das er eigentlich dienen sollte.
Ich habe natürlich auch einige google-links bereits ausprobiert, aber nur humbug herrausgefunden.
Ich benutze auf meinem PC die neueste Version von Windows 7 Enterprise in Deutsch, sowie Microsoft Office 2010.

Hello Guys,
I've a problem with my Mercury Mail-server, cauze the stmp-server would not start really, on one side it's shown active at the xammp status-control-site, on the other I've made some controls (eg. at the mercury main program), which said, that it isn't active. In fact, that I didn't install annother MailServer (eg. hamster) I couldn't find the solution for this problem. I've also looked at the ports, but there is all normal, so there isn't the problem. I've just searched with google, but I found only bad information, so I hope, you can help me.
There is also another prob, that I can't take online the Imap-mailserver, which is necessairy for webmailplatforms (eg. roundcubemail). I think, that, I've the first problem is solutioned, the second solution is included in the first, so it would take also function. I've just reinstalled Windows (I've the newest Version of Windows 7 Enterprise and the Office 2010 package, certainly also enterprise edition).

Ciao a tutti,
come gia ho detto sopra in tedesco e in italiano, ho un problema con il Mercury-Web-Mail-Server. Il Server SMTP non vuole funzionare, non so perche. Ho visto nel control-site di xampp, che dovrebbe essere attiva, ma la programma me la detto, che e disattivatta. Infatto che non ho installato nessun altro webmailserver, I provato a trovare una soluzione nel Web, ma non sono mai riuscito a trovare una buona soluzione, pure con google e yahoo.
Poi, il secondo problema e, che non funziona il Imap-server, il quale mi serve per usare una paittaforma webmail (per essempio roundcube mail).
Secondo me, include la prima soluzione pure la soluzione per il secondo problema.

Hab's bereits gelöst. Einfach den Serverdienst MercuryMail in Xampp beenden und löschen, den Xampp-Ordner öffnen und den Ordner "MercuryMail" in "MercuryMailalt" umbennen (damit man ihn später auch wiederherstellen kann) und Version 1.7.1 von Xampp downloaden, installieren und deren "MercuryMail"-Ordner in den von der Xampp-Version 1.7.3 kopieren, Service neu installieren, fertig. Nur ein kleiner Hacken, Xampp mag nicht immer bei klick auf "Admin" MercuryMail öffnen, deshalb im kopierten MercuryMail-Ordner die Datei "loader.exe" öffnen
