Localhost nicht erreichbar

Servus,

ich hab folgendes Problem:

Egal welchen Apache ich benutze (Portable oder XAMPP), ich komme nicht auf http://localhost . Der lädt und lädt und nix kommt (hab schon mal über 240 sek. laden lassen). Firewalls haben das bekommen was sie wollen: Freigabe.

MySQL ist problemlos erreichbar.

Infos:
OS: WinXP SP 3
Core: AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
RAM: 3 GB
HDD: 2 x 500 GB
XAMPP: v. 1.7.1 (lol hab gestern den 1.7.0 deinstalliert^^)
Internetverbindung: 6.000 DSL per WLAN (54 Mbit/s)

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.

Also ich hoffe, dass da irgendwas nützliches drin steht, denn wenn ich http://localhost aufrufe, kommt wie immer: NIX, er lädt und lädt und es hört nicht auf (eher verbinden).

schon hosts datei überprüft oder mit 127.0.0.1 getestet?

Nicht mehr nötig

Einfach mit XP Iso Builder die XP CD neu gestaltet (SPs integriert) und somit ging die Neuinstallation um 300% schneller und das gute an der Neuinstallation war: GIT und Apache funzen wieder, kann geclosed werden
