Tuning, MaxClients, welches Modul??

Hallo zusammen,

ich hatte schon im Apache Forum nachgefragt aber keine Antwort erhalten.
Vielleicht weiss ja hier jemand bescheid.
Es geht um die Einstellungen für "MaxClients" usw.

Standardmäßig steht in der httpd-mpm.conf unter anderem;

<IfModule mpm_worker_module>
StartServers 2
MaxClients 150
MinSpareThreads 25
MaxSpareThreads 75
ThreadsPerChild 25
MaxRequestsPerChild 0
</IfModule>

Es gibt aber auch noch die Sektion;
<IfModule mpm_prefork_module>
..
<IfModule mpm_winnt_module>

Wo wird denn festgelegt welche Module genommen werden?
Oder geschieht denn das schon beim kompilieren?
