While installing XAMPP for Linux 5.6.12, I received the following error:
Please wait while Setup installs XAMPP on your computer.

#############################
Error: mysql: Error while executing group action
Press [Enter] to continue:
############
OS is SLES 11 SP3 on a physical server with 96GB of memory. Nothing else is running on this server.
(Corrected memory size to GB)
Is this error of any concern?
I also noticed on reboot mysql does not start. I ran the steps documented:
sudo ln -s /opt/lampp/lampp /etc/init.d/lampp
sudo chkconfig lampp 2345
and confirmed it took:
# chkconfig lampp
lampp 2345
I have confirmed that everything else starts on reboot and if I do a "lampp start" mysql does come up properly. Is this related to the error during install? Am I missing something else?
Thank you for your help.
