Hi my friends!
I'm developing a web project for university. I'm running ubuntu 10.10 x64 and XAMPP (latest version). My local network is formed by a laptop accessing wirelessly, a desktop computer through ethernet wires, and a linksys wrt54gc router connected to my broadband cable modem. I've opened 80 port (http), too.
So, taking everythings into account, I cant access my XAMPP server typing "localhost" or even "192.168.122.1" (local ip). Up to this moment, everything is OK. The problem arises when I try to access XAMPP server not through my LAN, but externally. I mean, if my ip is "65.43.213.28", I type it on my web browser, it doensn't drives me to xampp. Though, i have always been driven to my router home page (192.168.1.1). Even if I try to access XAMPP writing "65.43.213.28/xampp" or "65.43.213.28:80/xampp", i am not able to access into it.
PD: I have configured httpd.conf located in /opt/lampp/etc: Listen (80), ServerAdmin (my mail) and ServerName (ip:80).
So could anyone help me, please?? What's wrong there?
Thanks in advance
