xampp phonebook not working

hi im not sure if it worked before, but i just installed the update from 1.4 to 1.4.2 and i thought hey lets start using the phonebook but i cant add stuff, nothing happens at all after i press submit or f5

so i took a quick look at the phonebook.php but it doesnt seems to have a problem, but im not familiar with SQLlite so..

ima using redhat9..
hm i just got the idea of checking the chmods and the chowns so probably a useless topic but i dont want to have typed this all for nothing , cya and i will reply if chmod/chown helped..

i chowned sqlite and the file phonebook which is in it to user nobody.www and it worked :S

it was chowned to someuser.www
all files in my xampp folder are owned by that user.group and i dont have any other problems.. (that im aware of)
