Update von 1.6.8a auf 1.7 fehlgeschlagen

Hallo,

nach dem Update von 1.6.7 auf 1.6.8a was wunderbar funktioniert hat bekam ich beim Update von 1.6.8a auf 1.7 auf SUSE 8.1 folgende Meldung:

XAMPP: XAMPP-Apache is not running.
XAMPP: XAMPP-MySQL is not running.
XAMPP: XAMPP-ProFTPD is not running.
XAMPP stopped.

Upgrading 1.6.8a to 1.7...

XAMPP for Linux started.


Es lässt sich aktuell nichts mehr starten.
Wie kann man das Problem lösen?
Ist ein Downgrade auf 1.6.8a möglich, wenn ja wie?

Als Ergänzung noch die apachestart.log:
/opt/lampp/bin/httpd: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.3' not found (required by /opt/lampp/lib/libapr-1.so.0)

Es scheint somit an der GLIBC Version zu liegen!

Tja, ne veraltete glibc ist gern der Fehlergrund

Entweder wieder alte XAMPP-Version nehmen oder neue SuSE-Version aufspielen. Alternativ kannst auch versuchen nur die glibc zu aktualisieren, wird aber wahrscheinlich deinem System nicht gut tun.
