Creating the same project on macbook and imac

Hello, is there a way to share the same xampp files on a laptop and a Mac? I would like to be able to, for example, finish a project on a laptop when necessary, but I would like to have everything there that is available on an iMac. I tried to transfer the files to iCloud drive, but this method doesn't work.
