MySQL & ProFTPD "Stopped"

Hey,

For some reason, my XAMPP has stopped working, was working fine last week and now when i Start everything, only Apache starts and the rest start then stop.

Server events says:

Starting all servers...
Starting MySQL Database...

Starting Apache Web Server...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
Starting ProFTPD...
Checking syntax of configuration file
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/proftpd/scripts/ctl.sh : proftpd started

but then they don't actually start? Anyone know of a fix. Bit gutted to have potentially lost what i was working on, again.

Hi, I suggest you try navigating to XAMPP’s directory (default is c:\xampp) and double click apache_start.bat. This will open up a command line and return more detailed errors about why Apache can’t run3.
