XAMPP runs at installer files and doesn't install properly

Hello,

I am trying to use XAMPP for creating a Wordpress website.
But I run into a problem when trying to install XAMPP.
When I launch the installer it opens XAMPP right away without installing??
Then I tried just putting the installer files at Apps but then I don't find the htdocs folder.
The same issue happens in both version 8.1.6 and 8.0.19.
My mac version is: macOS Monterey 12.6.1.
I also tried it on a diffent version of MacOS but I don' t remember what version of macOS it was but both having the same issue again.

Could some one tell my what I do wrong or what the issue could be?

well there are 2 versions of xampp apearently.. one installer the other i am not sure what it is but it doesnt work. both are on the site.
Now i finaly have the installer. very strange they are named the same on the website.
