Connection refused for xampp database

Hi, I just installed Xampp in OSX Monterrey.
While connecting to database cursojava the connection is not working, neither by code nor Dbeaver for testing.

Does your user have a password..I am finding a issue with xampp if I create a new mysql user with password can't sign in on Mac.
If I remove the password I can login but then I add it again and I cant login again!
