XAMP-VM : how to increase number of CPU cores?

Hi,

Same way as the documentation (https://www.apachefriends.org/faq_stackman.html) explains that we can increase the available memory of VM by editing the "requiredMemory" property in the ~/.bitnami/stackman/machines/APP_NAME/metadata.json file,
is there a way to do the same for the number of CPU cores used for the VM ? I am using an IDE remotely through SSH (IntelliJ) and the (only 1) cpu core is routinely at 100%.
Is there another property perhaps that we can change?
