Could someone tell me if the latest release functions well on MACOs 12.0.1 (Monterey)? Thank you.

So far, so good on an intel iMac and a MacBook Pro (M1).
I use extensions - ds, xdebug, openswoole and sodium. Only issue so far is that the configure command used to build PHP does not include --with-sodium and I cannot figure out how to install it as yet. PECL does not have a libsodium for 8.1 and using pecl install -f libsodium fails to find the installed version.

Thanks pmhegarty, but that is WAY over my head ! I've used Xampp in the past on Windows to put together a website on local server before making live. I do not know what all the other items you list are...I've always just installed the Xampp and I believe it installs PhpAdmin as part of the package. I'm trying to figure out if it will work the same on Mac OS 12.0.1.
