My files where deleted from my htdocs - dashboard folder by mistake. Is there any way to recover the files?

MacOS does have time machine to track file changes.
If this is not an option, then ou can try a recovery software compatible with MacOS. I don't have MacOS so i cannot tell you which one.
Best option would be to restore your missing files from periodic backups you made.
If there are only xampp specific files missing you can uninstall and reinstall XAMPP.
