I am starting to develop my web with wordpress and woocommerce and we have two laptops, one with windows and one with mac and depends on the situation or location we have to use one of them but i want work in only one version as and is too early to use a hosting because is the begining and i dont know how can I share all the information about myy web

How can I shyncronize the database? I have changed the htdocs to share this folder with onedrive but in mac i dont know how configure database to read for my onedrive
In windows I changed my.ini, datadir, but if I changed my.conf in mac mysql dosen´t work.

I am working with xampp in both of them

Never (!!! i cannot stress that enough) place database data files directly in Cloud sync folders. Cloud folders are not made for permanent in access, live and/or often changing files. This will commonly end in corrupt databases, slow webserver and computer performance.

Don't use ONEDRIVE that in itself is a web based (cloud) server. It's fine for copying files from one space to another but as Altrea mentions DB files going back and forth will corrupt. Usually they get out of sync. In years past I've been able to setup a networked mac to act as a network server and sharing the virtual volume. It's really not worth all the trouble if you have a laptop. Just carry the laptop and use it.
