XAMPP (7.4.1) do not have GD JPEG Support?

Hi!

I upgrade to the last version of XAMPP (7.4.1) and it's not have JPEG Support in Graphic Library.

I see that this Library is the same version (GD 2.2.5) of the previous XAMPP version.

It's a bug?

I use macox platform, i can't see if this bug is in other platforms..

I create a fresh install and the same result.



XAMPP Version: 7.4.1
OS: macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave)

I was astonished to find this issue with 7.4.1... why would anyone want a GD library without JPEG support? Sorry to be so honest, but this distribution is just a huge waste of developer's time, nothing more. After an unsuccessful research to add JPEG support to GD in macOS, it seems the issue is unsolvable for the average developer.

Version 7.4.1 should be removed until a fix is released, or at least add a red warning message with the legend:

Version 7.4.1 (no GD-JPEG support)

Reverting to version 7.3.12 now.

Off-topic tip: "Mac OS X" was reverted to just macOS in 2016. The nomenclature from the Downloads section should be updated accordingly.

Anyway XAMPP is a dev/test environment, what would be wrong to have all options enabled?

Latest released version, 7.4.1-1, has JPEG, Freetype, LibWebp, zlib and zip extensions enabled. PHP 7.4 compilation flags have changed from 7.3. Are you missing any other features?

He probably meant the first 7.4.1, where sqlite has been reported as missing and probably only wanted to add up to the list of (previously) missing extensions (because you did not list it).
