Cannot delete folder or some files?

I'm very new to this... but, I've been able to get it working with one issue: Now that I've added a folder and add some files... I cannot delete this folder??? I'm very frustrated? See Attached permission error screen shot. When I try to add my user to the permissions in Get Info/unlock/permissions... nothing happens?

Error: The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items.

Have you tried to mount the data > explore > then check get info to know permission for files and folders

Yes, I have looked at the permissions... I guess there is no way to show a screenshot here???

When I try to add edit any permissions related to the LAMPP folders or files... I get "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have the necessary permission."

I must be missing something?????
