editing and saving config.inc.php

hi there,

i am using XAMPP and followed exactly every single step shown on this youtube video:

but when i go to change the password in the config.inc.php and i try to save it gives me an error: *** This operation couldn't be completed, because an error occurred. The authenticated save for this file failed (application error code 20004) *** , and then i try to refresh phpmyadmin i get another error and i am stacked. I already uninstalled and reinstalled XAMPP twice and now i am going to do it for the third time. This is the error i get when i try to reload the phpmyadmin after the changes in your video: mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
