What do I do when this happens

When I go to use the xamp app now it won't let me get into it all the sudden this is what its saying "cannot calculate MAC address: exit status 1"
What does this mean?

This happens only to Xampp-VM version and it usually means, that your CPU is too old and does not support EPT (whatever EPT means, i dont know). That error has been reported many times in this forum.

Uninstall Xampp-VM and Download and install a non-VM version (the non-VM Version does have significantly smaller size for the installer, watch for the filesize on the download site).
