USB Thumb Drive ?

I arrived here from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Wiki_on_a_stick
but the MacOS xampp-osx-7.3.9-0-installer.dmg wants to put it in /Applications.

Can it be installed on a USB thumb drive for MacOS ?

MacOs installs to /Applications folder.

You might try to move the Xampp Folder from /Applications to the USB Drive, but you have to adapt all pathnames in config files manually. Maybe it finally works, but there is no way to install an Application to an USB Drive directly.
