Servers will not start

I am just a novice here, I cannot for the life of me get my servers to start. I click the start all button and it appears that they are in the process of starting up, but then stop. Not sure how to fix this, I checked the FAQs to see what the issue was and read that it could be a number of different errors causing this.

I am running XAMPP version 7.1.30.
My computer is a 2008 MacBook running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
4 GB RAM
1TB HD

Please advise.
