Subfolder not found. Htdocs.

I use Mac and Xampp. Apache 2.4.37

I create a folder with a project inside of htdocs. When looking for it get a 404 Not found error.

When I start the server and try localhost/myproject/ but receive 404 not found error. But default folders like localhost/dashboard/ or localhosy/img/ do work fine in same directory.

No. You dont. You use XAMPP-VM. And that is your problem. Read the FAQs and Readmes about VM, i recommend to install Xampp (without "VM") instead.
