Filezilla connect to XAMPP server 530 Login error

I have download and installed XAMPP for Mac OS X yesterday. When I try to use Fillezilla to connect to XAMPP localhost, the error occur. It shows an error message:
Status: Connecting to 127.0.0.1:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 ProFTPD 1.3.4c Server (ProFTPD) [::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Command: USER wentao
Response: 331 Password required for wentao
Command: PASS ********
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

The username and password I entered to connect XAMPP localhost is 100% matched and corrected.

But when I use Filezilla to connect my another online server "saintpegasus1984" for testing, it shows a success message as follows:
Status: Resolving address of saintpegasus1984.com
Status: Connecting to 173.236.175.123:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Directory listing of "/" successful

I can not figure where is going wrong. Someone please help me to fix this problem.
