2009 Mac XAMPP won't launch-- Help?

Hi!
I have just started learning, and I am having issues running XAMPP. Every time I launch it, I get this message,
" https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html#download-apple

You can still download the regular macOS native installer"

I have gone to the link it directs me to, and attempted to install these versions....

But I keep getting the same message.

My Mac is old- 2009. Operating MacOS Sierra.... what can I do to get XAMPP to run so I can learn? I'm sorry if the answer is obvious... I'm so new it hurts.
