Error starting "XAMPP" stack: cannot start stack: ssh not ac

Postby devif » 20. November 2017 23:46

Hello,

First time xamp user, I tried to edit my etc/network/interfaces file to get a fixed ip and now xamp does not start giving the error:
Error starting "XAMPP" stack: cannot start stack: ssh not accessible

I tried reinstalling but I get the same error so I am completely stuck now.. Some kind of persisting preference somewhere ?

I used:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.100
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.1.0
broadcast 192.168.1.255
gateway 192.168.1.1
dns-nameservers 192.168.1.1

This is not supported right now. A possible workaround is to enable the network tunnel so you can use localhost or the IP of your OS X to access remotely.
