High Sierra freezing and crashing

I've been troubleshooting my Mac for 2 weeks now. I can't say for sure, but after examining all my newly installed applications on my mac (running OSX High Sierra), I think the XAMPP installation has been causing system problems. Is it possible that with the new Apple File System, XAMPP may encounter or cause system issues? Has anyone else had this issue running High Sierra on MacOSX ?
