xammp folder not visible/searchable?

Postby elenigna » 23. September 2017 22:46

Hi all - I have installed Xampp however looking to enable the virtual hosts I cannot see/search for the .conf file, and any file meant to be in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/.

In fact the whole folder does not appear since I reinstalled Xampp - only the Xampp icon which launches the application seems to exist.

Anyone had that issue or any pointer to a solution? Been Googling / reinstalling for a while now but no valid solution found.

Thanks in advance for any help

You probably have installed the wrong version, i.e. XAMPP-VM instead of any "standard" XAMPP installations (no VM).

Thanks! Appreciate the reply. It was that - however after re-installing the "standard" version of XAMPP I had other time-consuming configuration issues.. switched to MAMP now.
