Did Bitnami WordPress installer steal my OS X admin password

The OS X Bitnami WordPress Module installer asked for my OS X admin password then "restarted with admin priviledges". Normally I only put my admin password into the dialog box from OS X, but this time I (accidentally) put it directly into the application. Please could you assure me (by pointing to source code) that the installer didn't steal my OS X admin password?
