MagpieRSS for Xampp

Greetings,

I am trying to establish an RSS feed to update the mysql database from php script from the localhost.

I want to utilize MagpieRSS-master from Github. I put the files under Xampp/xamppfiles/mysql.

When I open localhost it says "connected successfully to the database" but it doesn't update the database.

I appreciate your help in this matter.
