$PATH problems with the HEAD binary

XAMPP adds export PATH=/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin:$PATH to my .bash_profile (I assume. I'm using an older XAMPP installed a long time ago).

Whenever I try to update Homebrew it tries to run a Unix binary named "head". But because of XAMPP the HEAD binary within /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin gets run instead and Homebrew fails to update.

What can I do to fix this?

Is it safe to delete the HEAD file within /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin?
