I have installed XAMPP latest version on my mac os x 10.9.5.
Have configured and can access locallhost from dreamweaver CS5 but having problems setting up the database connection.
this is the error on my php error log file.


[29-Sep-2016 00:53:25 UTC] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/php_mysql.dll' - dlopen(/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/php_mysql.dll, 9): image not found in Unknown on line 0

also, I could not find php_mysql.dll or any other mysql file on that directory
please help.

Did you apply any changes to httpd.conf (or any other Xampp Apache Configuration file)? As far as i know, DLL Files are unknown to OSX, these are Windows binarys?!

Apart from that, the MySQL API also has been removed from PHP with version PHP7. You should use MySQLi instead (or PDO): https://wiki.php.net/rfc/remove_depreca ... ty_in_php7
