MySQL Database - Status - "Stopped"

MySQL Database shows "Status - Stopped". When I first start my computer (MAC OS X), and turn on XAMPP…all three applications will start and run just fine (MySQL, ProFTPD, & Apache Web Server)…then after some time..maybe 30 min or so, only MySQL Database will change to "Status - Stopped" in the Manage Servers list. I try to restart it, and it will change to "Status - Starting"….but then just default right back to "Status - Stopped"

Any ideas on why this is happening?
