Where's the bugtracker

Postby teo8976 » 15. November 2014 13:57

Isn't there a bugtracker for XAMPP?
I've searched for it in the sourceforge project page and at apachefriends.org.

Do you really manage bug reports through the forum?!?

I dont know, but keep in mind, that Xampp is not a "product". Xampp is only a distribution, a collection of software tools. In my mind, if someone finds a bug in Apache or MySQL (for example), he should provide that to the Apache Development and/or MySQL Development, as Xampp does no Development. Only the installer and the Xampp Control Dialog are developed by Bitnami and Xampp Team, but anything else is developed by different software projects.

I do keep that in mind.
Yet, the way the software tools are collected and packaged together is still subject to bugs (and it does have a few), as do the installer and the Xampp Control Dialog.
Also the "xampp" bash script in Linux (which starts/stops/restarts all the components packaged with Xampp). That's development.

And last but not least, the documentation, which is the part where I found the issue I wanted to report. I finally reported it here:
