Password required to edit php files

Postby behnampmdg3 » 11. March 2014 09:36

Hi;

I downloaded and installed XAMPP but everytime I try to edit any of the files in my htdocs Macbook asks for my password!

What should I do?

Thanks

Buy you a book about OSX and learn about the rights management in OSX.

Or use a Windows PC, what is quite better and easier (even if Apple Fans tells vice verse, but you just learn it the hard way...).

Thats bad advise :)

All I had to do was to change the owner and premissions of XAMPP/htdocs recursivly and it's all working fine.

Thanks anyways
