Unable to create directory. *WP

I’m having a problem uploading content such as images to posts? Every time I try, I receive this message:

“Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Obs. XAMPP Version: 1.7.3 & Moodle

Easy fix! Sorry for posting!
Just gave Read & Write permission to the folder wp-content!

(Just in case someone else need it!)
