How to.get the "getting started" screen back.

I feel like a foolish newbie for asking this.. but then again I AM a newbie...

I foolishly clicked on "do not show again" on the "Getting Started" splash screen.

I checked up in the menu to find a way to bring it back but the preferences menu item is inactive...

Would appreciate help.
