Location of localhost

Hi all!
I run brand new iMAC with the latest OS X Lion. While working with Windows, I adjusted the httpd.conf so, that all webpages were placed on a separate partition. Now I prepared such partition (Localweb) too and tried to adjust the configuration. But this seems not to work with my new XAMP installation. I am not very familiar with XAMP and do not know what - where and how shall be adjusted to run my local webpages from their own location.
