xampp doesnt open

just downloaded xampp 1.7.3 for mac os x installed fine but when i open it i only get 3 controls apache, MySQL, FTP and nothing else? dont know if i downloaded wrong version or ????

That application is only a little control panel to turn the components Apache, MySQL and FTP on and off.
To actually do something with the software, visit http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 in your webbrowser after you have turned at least Apache on. The files that are loaded are stored in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs
