Access denied to PHPMyAdmin

Please help, I cannot get into PHPMyAdmin! I am totally new to this.

I was setting passwords for everything:

devmac
localhost
127.0.0.1
devmac
localhost

And when I set the password for the last one, it locked me out! And gave me this error code!

MySQL said:

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

So now what do I do? Please help!

Nachschauen ob der eintrag:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = true;

in der config.inc.php
auf true steht. Fals false auf true ändern. Hat zumindest bei mir funktioniert.
