OS Leopard: SSL Not Working?

Postby KammylandSoftware » 24. October 2009 06:15

Hello,

Whenever I try to access a page on localhost over ssl, such as https://localhost/someFile.php I keep getting a Forbidden: 403 .... sort of message in my browser. But the same url works fine over a non ssl connection as http://localhost/someFile.php .

I had changed a configuration in http.conf to change the htdocs root directory from the default one to another directory somewhere outside the Xampp application directory. That wouldn't be a problem, would it?

Perhaps SSL is not working at all on OS Leopard at the moment?

- Thanks.

SSL is working fine for me. What exactly did you do to configure SSL?

Well, I wasn't quite aware that I had to do anything to configure SSL on Xampp. I asummed that it was all already sorted out for us when we install. It was that way when I use to use Xampp on a Windows XP platform; now I'm on a Mac, OS Leopard platform.

Would you direct me in the right way to go about sorting out SSL.

Thanks mate.
