svn server on xampp

hi,

Anyone has idea how to setup svn server on xammp's apache?
I'm currently using xampp 1.0.1 for mac and i wanted to setup svn server on my xampp's apache instead of the mac os x 's apache..
Any idea how to do it.. I've read about, try the following but it doesnt work..

httpd.conf in xampp's etc folder

LoadModule dav_svn_module /usr/libexec/apache2/mod_dav_svn.so

and
Include etc/extra/httpd-svn.conf

it doesnt work..anyone has tried svn on xampp before?

i'm using Subversion 1.6.2 comes with XCode Mac OS X
XAMPP 1.0.1 For MAC OS X
PHP Version 5.2.9

I'm trying to setup everything running from the apache with XAMPP
but it seems like alot of help is needed...

Does subversion that came with XCode (currently) requires that the webserver that came with Mac OS X is turned on?
